Key Leadership Responsibilities The CNO will be responsible for leading and strengthening nursing services, ensuring high standards of patient care, nursing practice and regulatory compliance. The role will include:
- Developing and maintaining high standards of nursing care delivery.
- Leading nursing services across clinical areas.
- Driving quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with nursing, clinical and statutory standards.
- Strengthening nursing policies, protocols and practices.
- Overseeing nursing audits, incident reviews and corrective actions.
- Driving infection prevention and control practices.
- Planning nursing manpower, resources and operational requirements.
- Developing nursing teams through training, mentoring and professional development.
- Contributing to strategic planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
- Collaborating with medical and administrative leadership to continuously enhance patient care.
