2. Revenue & Account Growth The Account Manager will have a direct responsibility for revenue from assigned accounts.
- Achieve monthly / quarterly revenue targets from existing clients.
- Ensure timely renewals and continuation of contracts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Identify new business requirements within existing accounts.
- Prepare opportunities and coordinate with the sales/strategy team for larger proposals.
- Maintain an Account Growth Pipeline for every client.
3. Client Retention
- Ensure timely renewal of contracts.
- Identify early warning signs of client dissatisfaction or potential churn.
- Conduct regular account health checks.
- Understand the client's changing requirements and business priorities.
- Ensure value delivered is clearly communicated to the client.
- Develop quarterly / annual account growth plans.

Campaign & Project Coordination
- Understand client briefs and convert them into transparent internal requirements.
- Coordinate with SEO, Social Media, Performance Marketing, Content, Creative, Website and other teams.
- Ensure deliverables are executed within agreed timelines.
- Track campaign/project progress.
- Ensure quality before client submission.
- Follow up internally to prevent delays.
- Escalate issues before they become client complaints.
5. Client Communication
- Prepare meeting agendas and MOMs.
- Share campaign updates and performance reports.
- Present results and insights to clients.
- Explain performance in business terms rather than only marketing metrics.
- Handle feedback professionally and ensure closure.
- Maintain proper documentation of client requirements and commitments.
6. Strategic Account Management For key accounts, the Account Manager should move beyond execution coordination.
- Understand client's annual business objectives.
- Identify marketing gaps and opportunities.
- Recommend relevant YRSK services.
- Develop an annual marketing roadmap with the client.
- Identify opportunities for increasing share of wallet.
- Track competitors and industry developments where relevant.
- Build a long-term relationship with multiple stakeholders within the client organization.
