Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification
1. Job Purpose The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the Finance & Accounts function, ensuring financial discipline, effective cash-flow management, statutory compliance, financial planning, risk management, and accurate financial reporting. The CFO will work closely with the Managing Director/Directors, senior management, project teams, banks, auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders to support the company's financial and business objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement the company's overall financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and business planning processes.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide corrective recommendations.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the management for business decisions, investments, and expansion plans.
B. Financial Management & Control
- Oversee the complete Finance & Accounts function of the organization.
- Ensure proper accounting, financial controls, and timely closure of books.
- Monitor profitability, margins, expenses, working capital, and overall financial performance.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and approval mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improve financial efficiency.
C. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Plan and monitor daily, monthly, and long-term cash flows.
- Ensure adequate liquidity for salaries, vendors, statutory payments, project expenses, and other commitments.
- Monitor receivables, payables, advances, retention money, and outstanding balances.
- Develop strategies for efficient working-capital management.
D. Banking & Treasury
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Oversee banking facilities, working-capital limits, guarantees, letters of credit, loans, and other financial arrangements.
- Negotiate banking terms, interest rates, credit facilities, and other financial requirements.
- Monitor treasury operations and ensure optimum utilization of available funds.
E. Project & Contract Finance
- Monitor financial performance of projects, including project budgets, costs, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
- Review project-wise profitability and cost variances.
- Coordinate with project and commercial teams regarding billing, collections, claims, advances, and contractual financial matters.
- Review financial implications of new contracts, tenders, and major business proposals.
F. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements, including:
- GST
- Income Tax
- TDS
- TCS, wherever applicable
- EPF / ESIC and other applicable statutory payments
- Companies Act and other applicable financial regulations
- Coordinate with tax consultants, statutory auditors, internal auditors, and government authorities.
- Ensure timely filing of returns, payments, assessments, and statutory reports.
G. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and present financial MIS and management reports.
- Provide analysis of revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
- Present financial performance and key business indicators to the senior management / Board.
H. Audit & Compliance
- Lead statutory, internal,
tax, and other financial audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance of books, records, supporting documents, and audit trails.
- Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws.
I. Risk Management
- Identify financial, credit, liquidity, tax, contractual, and operational financial risks.
- Develop appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
- Review credit limits and financial exposure of customers, vendors, contractors, and business partners.
J. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Define responsibilities, KRAs, performance targets, and reporting systems.
- Ensure adequate manpower and effective delegation within the department.
- Promote financial discipline and accountability across the organization.

- Overall financial health and profitability of the organization.
- Accuracy and timely completion of financial reporting.
- Effective cash-flow and working-capital management.
- Timely collection of receivables.
- Control over project and operational costs.
- Timely statutory and tax compliance.

- Effective utilization of banking and financial facilities.
- Successful completion of audits with timely closure of observations.
- Strengthening of internal financial controls.
- Quality and timeliness of MIS and management reporting.
4. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting, taxation, audit, and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent cash-flow and working-capital management skills.
- Solid knowledge of project finance and cost
Salary · ₹7,50,000 – ₹1,00,000 per year (Based on experience)
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
