Role Description The Chef at Frappe & Yap Cafe is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for preparing and presenting desserts, beverages, and cafe-style dishes according to established recipes and standards. Daily tasks include planning and organizing the menu items, ensuring ingredients are properly stored and prepared, maintaining food quality and consistency, and coordinating with the service team to deliver orders on time.

The Chef will monitor kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, follow food safety guidelines, manage stock and inventory, and support efficient operations during peak hours.



The role also involves contributing ideas for recent menu items, improving existing recipes, and helping create a memorable experience for guests.

Qualifications

- Professional experience as a Chef, Pastry Chef, or Cook in a cafe, bakery, or dessert-focused establishment.
- Robust skills in dessert preparation, plating, and basic cafe-style food and beverage production.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practices.
- Ability to manage time, multitask, and work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Attention to detail, consistency in food quality, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
- Culinary training or a diploma in hotel management, bakery, or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory.
