About the Role

We’re looking for a Category Executive to help build and manage EKO’s product assortment across groceries, fresh produce, dairy, snacks, beverages, personal care and home essentials.

You’ll be responsible for understanding what customers want, what sells, what doesn’t, and what we should add next

.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse sales, search and customer behaviour to identify high-demand products and category gaps
- Manage and expand EKO’s product catalogue.
- Research products, brands, pricing and competitors
- Identify and onboard relevant brands and suppliers
- Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, margins, MOQ, availability and replenishment
- Monitor product availability and maintain healthy inventory levels
- Track product performance and recommend new products, replacements and delistings
- Build category-wise assortment based on customer demand
- Work closely with Operations, Marketing and Growth teams to support category growth
- Track competitor assortment and pricing across quick-commerce platforms
- Maintain accurate product information,



pricing, variants and catalogue data
- Prepare weekly category performance reports and actionable insights

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years of experience in category management, procurement, buying, e-commerce or quick commerce
- Robust analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Good understanding of grocery and consumer products
- Ability to research products and identify emerging trends
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup
- Customer-first and numbers-driven mindset
- Ability to turn data into clear decisions
