About the RoleWe are looking for a Catalog Manager with robust hands-on experience in Shopify and e-commerce catalogue management.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing large product catalogues, product variants, collections, and Shopify metafields/metaobjects, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain product catalogues on Shopify.
- Create, update, and organise products, variants, SKUs, pricing, images, descriptions, tags, and collections.
- Manage and update Shopify metafields and metaobjects.
- Ensure structured product information is accurately entered and maintained.
- Understand how metafields are used to display information across Shopify storefronts.
- Manage product categorisation, collections, tags, and website merchandising.
- Conduct regular catalogue and product-page audits.
- Identify and correct missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent product information.
- Manage bulk product updates and catalogue maintenance.
- Maintain product trackers and ensure timely product launches and updates.
- Work closely with SEO, creative, e-commerce, and account teams

Requirements




- 1–3 years of experience in catalogue management/e-commerce operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Admin.
- Good understanding of Shopify metafields and metaobjects.
- Experience managing products, variants, collections, tags, and SKUs.
- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
- Based in Chennai / Tamil Nadu
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written communication and proofreading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple products and tasks efficiently.
- Experience with fashion, textiles, jewellery, lifestyle, or D2C brands is an advantage.

Good to Have
- Basic understanding of Shopify 2.0.
- Familiarity with Shopify themes and Liquid.
- Knowledge of product SEO.
- Experience with Shopify CSV/bulk uploads.
- Basic image editing or optimisation skills.

Who We're Looking ForSomeone who understands that catalogue management is more than uploading products.

You should be able to work independently within Shopify, understand structured product data, manage metafields accurately, spot catalogue inconsistencies, and ensure every product is ready for the customer.
