Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based at Effica Automation’s plant in Coimbatore. The Cashier will handle daily cash and electronic transactions, including receiving payments from customers and vendors, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of all financial dealings.

Responsibilities include balancing the cash drawer, reconciling payment reports, preparing basic daily cash summaries, and ensuring that all transactions comply with company policies. The role involves interacting with internal teams and external partners to clarify invoices,



address payment-related queries, and support smooth financial operations. The Cashier is expected to maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service in all activities.

Qualifications

- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail for handling cash, invoices, and daily reconciliations.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping principles, including familiarity with receipts, ledgers, and financial records.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems or billing software, and comfort working with spreadsheets and standard office tools.
- Explicit, professional communication skills for interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage time effectively, and maintain reliability in a full-time schedule.
- Demonstrated integrity, responsibility, and respect for confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Prior experience in a cashier, accounts assistant, or similar finance-support role is an advantage.
- Relevant education such as a high school diploma; additional coursework in commerce, accounting, or finance is beneficial.
