Role Description The Caproate Plant – IT and OT Management role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing and maintaining IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure at the plant, including servers, networks, industrial control systems, and related hardware and software.

The individual will coordinate system upgrades, monitor performance and security, ensure data integrity, and support plant operations by minimizing downtime and resolving technical issues. Daily activities include collaborating with production, quality, and engineering teams, managing vendors and service providers, documenting systems and processes,



and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and cybersecurity standards. The role also includes identifying opportunities for automation, digitalization, and process optimization to improve plant efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, operating systems, and backup solutions.
- Experience with OT environments such as PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial networks, and plant automation technologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, access control, and risk management for both IT and OT systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and coordinate timely resolution with internal teams and vendors.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or manufacturing plant operations, regulatory requirements, and validation processes is an advantage.
- Effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities, respond swiftly to plant incidents, and work in a structured, safety-focused manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field; relevant certifications (such as networking, cybersecurity, or automation) are beneficial.
