Tetra Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an experienced CAD Engineer – Suspension Design for a leading automotive company, supporting Engineering amp; Ramp;D activities in the commercial vehicle domain.

Location: Hinjewadi / Chakan, Pune

Experience: 5–8 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech

– Mechanical Engineering

CAD: SolidWorks / CATIA

Department: Engineering / Ramp;D

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES•

Develop robust 3D models and 2D production drawings for suspension components.

- Design and package Control Arms, Springs, Dampers, Knuckles, ARB Assemblies and Shackles.
- Perform suspension packaging, Kinematics amp; Compliance (Kamp;C) clearance studies.
- Ensure clearance and zero interference with brakes, steering, powertrain, body and other vehicle systems.
- Apply DFM, DFA and DFS principles across sheet metal, casting, forging and molded components.
- Apply GDamp;T and support fitment and stack-up analysis.
- Support benchmarking, testing and manufacturing issue resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams for timely design releases.

REQUIRED SKILLS





5–8 years of automotive design experience

Strong 3D modeling amp; 2D drafting skills

Proficiency in SolidWorks / CATIA

Robust understanding of automotive suspension systems

Knowledge of forging, casting and fabrication processes

Good understanding of GDamp;T

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

PREFERRED

- Experience in Bus / Heavy Commercial Vehicle development• Experience with Chassis / Suspension aggregates
- Exposure to suspension testing and validation
- Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations
