LINEA STEEL FABRICATORS LLP is looking for a CAD / DXF Draftsman to support our sheet metal fabrication operations.

The candidate will mainly be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings and DXF files for CNC laser cutting, along with fabrication drawings required for production.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D drawings and DXF files for CNC laser cutting.
- Convert customer sketches, measurements, PDFs and reference drawings into production-ready drawings.
- Prepare drawings for sheet metal components, frames, panels, doors, windows, furniture and other fabricated products.
- Check dimensions, hole positions, bending allowances and fabrication requirements before releasing drawings for production.
- Coordinate with production and machine operators for drawing corrections and modifications.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and file records.
- Optimize drawings for efficient material usage and fabrication wherever required.
- Prepare basic fabrication drawings and part details.

Required Skills
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software.
- Ability to prepare clean and accurate DXF files.
- Positive understanding of dimensions, tolerances and engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting and bending is preferred.
- Ability to read customer drawings and convert them into manufacturing drawings.
- Basic computer knowledge and proper file management.





Qualification Diploma / ITI / Engineering qualification in any of the following or related fields is preferred:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical Draughtsman
- Production Engineering
- CAD/CAM
- Tool & Die
- Fabrication Technology

Candidates with relevant AutoCAD / DXF experience may also apply irrespective of qualification.

Experience

Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills may apply.

Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal, fabrication, CNC laser cutting or engineering drawing will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

- Press brake / bending drawings
- Fabrication drawings
- Nesting software
- AutoCAD

Training can be provided for suitable candidates who have good basic CAD knowledge and willingness to learn.
