Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CAD Draughtsman with experience in Joinery and Interior Design to prepare detailed technical drawings and construction/shop drawings for interior and joinery projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, joinery detailing, interior layouts, and the ability to convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings for interior and joinery works.
- Develop joinery shop drawings, furniture details, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Prepare detailed drawings for doors, wardrobes, cabinets, kitchens, vanities, wall panels, counters, and other custom joinery items.
- Prepare interior layout drawings, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and elevation details.
- Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and develop accurate working drawings.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, interior designers, engineers, and project teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, dimensions, materials, and design requirements.
- Revise drawings based on client, designer, or site-team requirements.




- Prepare drawings suitable for fabrication and site execution.
- Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations, and revisions.
- Coordinate with the production/site team to resolve technical and detailing issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 25 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting, joinery, and interior projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of joinery construction, materials, hardware, and detailing.
- Good understanding of interior design drawings and construction details.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Knowledge of SketchUp/Revit or other drafting/design software will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on experience in interior fit-out, bespoke joinery, furniture detailing, and shop drawing preparation will be preferred.
