Role Description The Business Development Manager internship at Scalup.org is an in office role based in Srinagar. The intern will identify and engage potential institutional partners, training centers, and student communities to expand the reach of Scalup’s digital marketing programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via calls and meetings, presenting program offerings, and maintaining strong relationships with partners and prospective learners.

The intern will support the development of growth strategies, collaborate with marketing and academic teams,



and track performance metrics to meet enrollment and partnership targets. This internship offers practical exposure to sales, partnerships, and EdTech growth initiatives in a dynamic learning setting.

Qualifications

- Robust communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with partners, institutions, and prospective learners.
- Ability to conduct market research, identify opportunities, and generate leads within the education and training sector.
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing concepts, including outreach, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Comfort working on-site in Srinagar, with the ability to manage meetings, events, and partner visits as needed.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple prospects, follow-ups, and reporting tasks.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM or lead-tracking tools is a plus).
- Interest in EdTech, digital marketing education, and career development for students and job seekers.
