Business Development & Client Acquisition Specialist – Healthcare

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development & Client Acquisition Specialist to develop healthcare employer opportunities across the UAE and wider Middle Eastern markets.

The primary focus of this role will be to identify healthcare workforce demand, map potential employers, reach relevant decision-makers, generate and qualify employer opportunities, secure high-quality meetings and build a structured client pipeline that enables the COO/Management to undertake focused business visits across the Middle East.

The successful candidate will build the market intelligence and opportunity pipeline from Bangalore, prepare the ground for client visits, support the COO before and during business visits, and drive structured follow-up after meetings to progress opportunities towards recruitment mandates, commercial proposals and contracts.

The role requires demonstrable B2B client acquisition experience and prior exposure to Middle Eastern healthcare employers, preferably with robust UAE market knowledge.

A particular focus will be placed on opportunities for Specialist Nurses, EMTs, Paramedics, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals and other allied healthcare professionals, alongside broader healthcare workforce requirements.

- Middle East Healthcare Market Development

· Identify and map healthcare employers across the UAE as the primary market, followed by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.

· Build and maintain a structured database of target organisations, decision-makers, workforce requirements and business opportunities.

· Map hospitals and hospital groups, medical centres and clinics, home healthcare providers, rehabilitation centres, aged-care and senior-living organisations, long-term care providers, specialist healthcare organisations, ambulance and emergency medical service providers, and relevant healthcare support/workforce-service organisations.

· Identify opportunities specifically related to EMTs, Paramedics, Advanced Paramedics, Emergency Medical Services and ambulance personnel.

· Identify potential opportunities within Civil Defence, ambulance and emergency-response organisations and related public-sector or government-linked entities, subject to applicable procurement and regulatory requirements.

· Identify current and upcoming workforce requirements for nurses, EMTs, paramedics, allied healthcare professionals and other relevant categories.

· Develop a practical understanding of country-wise healthcare markets, healthcare systems, employer structures and workforce requirements.

· Identify HR, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Operations, Procurement and other relevant decision-makers.

· Maintain up-to-date market intelligence on target employers and emerging workforce demand.

- Prospecting & Client Outreach

· Identify prospective healthcare employers through structured market research, professional networks, LinkedIn, industry sources, databases and other appropriate channels.

· Identify and verify relevant decision-makers within target organisations.

· Conduct structured outbound business development through email, LinkedIn, telephone, professional networks, industry events and other appropriate business channels.

· Develop personalised outreach based on employer workforce requirements and market conditions.

· Build relationships with HR, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Operations and senior healthcare management.

· Maintain systematic and persistent follow-up with prospective clients.

· Record all interactions, responses, requirements and next actions within the CRM.

- Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

· Generate and qualify employer leads based on genuine workforce requirements and commercial potential.

· Establish relationships with prospective healthcare employers and develop opportunities towards recruitment mandates.

· Understand employer workforce requirements, job categories, volumes, qualification and experience requirements, licensing requirements, recruitment timelines, compensation expectations and commercial models.

· Secure qualified meetings and appointments with relevant decision-makers.

· Maintain structured follow-up from initial engagement through qualification, proposal, negotiation and closure.

· Distinguish between general prospects and genuine, commercially viable employer opportunities.

· Build a pipeline of employers capable of generating recurring recruitment requirements.

- EMT, Paramedic & Emergency Services Business Development

This is an important strategic focus area for the role. The specialist will actively identify and develop opportunities for:

· Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)

· Paramedics

· Advanced Care Paramedics

· Critical Care / Intensive Care Paramedics

· Ambulance Nurses

· Emergency Medical Responders

· Other Emergency Medical Services professionals

- COO / Management Business Visit Facilitation

· Build a qualified client-visit pipeline for the COO/Management across the Middle East.

· Maintain a rolling 60–90 day business-visit pipeline aligned with planned travel schedules.

· Cluster meetings by country, city, geography, employer segment and business potential.

· Secure multiple high-quality appointments within each planned travel window.

· Prioritise meetings based on genuine workforce demand, decision-maker access, potential recruitment volume, commercial opportunity and strategic value.

· Prepare detailed client briefs before each meeting, including employer profile, decision-makers, current workforce requirements, potential recruitment volume, job categories, market intelligence, opportunity value, previous communication, meeting objectives and recommended next steps.

· Coordinate meeting schedules and logistics with prospective clients.

· Ensure the COO/Management has all relevant information before each client meeting.

· Maintain real-time updates on meeting confirmations and changes.

· Manage structured post-visit follow-up.

· Ensure opportunities generated through business visits progress towards proposals, mandates and contracts.

The Acquisition Specialist facilitates and structures the client acquisition process and business visits; the COO/Management will lead senior-level strategic client meetings, commercial negotiations and key relationship development.

- Market Intelligence, Compliance & Commercial Strategy

· Maintain a working knowledge of country-specific healthcare recruitment regulations, licensing requirements, employment practices, documentation and compliance considerations.

· Monitor healthcare workforce demand, salary levels, recruitment models and market trends.

· Maintain market intelligence specifically relating to nursing, EMT, paramedic, allied healthcare, EMS and ambulance services.

· Research competitor activity and prevailing market/pricing models.

· Identify emerging healthcare workforce opportunities and market segments.

· Support development of country-wise pricing, commercial and recruitment strategies.

· Assess the commercial potential, feasibility and likely margins of prospective opportunities.

· Identify potential risks, regulatory requirements and dependencies.

· Escalate specialist regulatory or compliance matters to management/appropriate specialists when required.

· Provide management with actionable market intelligence to support business decisions.

- Tools, Platforms & Digital Business Development

· Use LinkedIn and, where available, LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify healthcare organisations, HR/Talent Acquisition leaders, recruitment heads, procurement contacts and other decision-makers.

· Use Apollo to build targeted B2B prospect lists, identify contacts and support structured outbound campaigns.

· Use RocketReach or comparable contact-intelligence platforms to identify and verify professional contact details where required.

· Use Google Search and Google Maps to research healthcare groups, hospitals, clinics, ambulance providers, EMS organisations, Civil Defence-related entities and other potential employers.

· Use relevant healthcare, government, industry and business portals to research employer information, healthcare licensing frameworks, tenders, workforce requirements and market developments.

· Use company websites and corporate directories to validate organisations, decision-makers, locations and business activities.

· Use appropriate email outreach platforms for structured, personalised B2B outreach and follow-up.

· Maintain all prospect, contact, opportunity, meeting, requirement and follow-up information in the CRM.

· Use Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for market mapping, employer databases, lead qualification, pipeline analysis and reporting.

- CRM, Pipeline & Performance Management

· Maintain an accurate CRM/client acquisition pipeline covering prospects, organisations, decision-makers, employer requirements, qualified opportunities, meetings, proposals, negotiations, mandates/contracts and expected business value.

· Ensure every opportunity has a defined status, decision-maker, next action, follow-up date, owner and expected timeline.

· No significant prospect or chance should remain in the pipeline without a clearly defined next action.

· Provide weekly management reports on business development activities and outcomes.

· Track conversion through: Lead → Qualified Opportunity → Decision-Maker Engagement → Meeting → Requirement → Proposal → Mandate → Contract.

· Identify stalled opportunities and take appropriate follow-up action.

· Maintain accurate records of all client communication and business-development activity.

- Candidate Profile Essential

· 2–4 years of relevant experience in B2B Business Development, Client Acquisition, Healthcare Recruitment, Staffing, Manpower or Workforce Solutions.

· Mandatory: Prior experience dealing with healthcare employers in the Middle East.

· Strong understanding of the UAE healthcare market.

· Demonstrable experience in identifying prospects, reaching decision-makers and developing B2B opportunities.

· Strong understanding of healthcare employer structures and recruitment requirements.

· Strong prospecting, appointment-setting and follow-up capability.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

· Strong commercial understanding of pricing, negotiation, margins and business development.

· Good working knowledge of CRM systems, MS Excel/Google Sheets and business reporting.

· Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a high-volume pipeline.

· Ability to work independently and take ownership of business-development outcomes.

· Willingness to work flexible hours when required to accommodate Middle Eastern business timings.

· Travel: Primarily office-based.

The role is designed to build and manage the Middle East client-acquisition pipeline from Bangalore. International travel will primarily be undertaken by the COO/Management as part of planned client-development visits.

The specialist will support these visits through market research, prospect identification, appointment setting, client briefing, meeting coordination and post-visit follow-up.
