Role Description The Branch Credit Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Mirzapur. This role is responsible for overseeing credit operations at the branch, including assessment and approval of loan applications, monitoring portfolio quality, and ensuring adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

The Branch Credit

Manager will analyze borrower profiles and financial data, manage credit risk at the branch level, and work closely with field and operations teams to maintain healthy asset quality. The role also involves regular reporting on credit performance,



conducting periodic reviews of loan accounts, and providing guidance and training to branch staff on credit processes and risk controls.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management to oversee branch-level lending decisions and portfolio health.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to evaluate borrower financials, assess repayment capacity, and interpret credit data.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Credit evaluation to ensure sound underwriting practices and compliance with company policies.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with branch staff, borrowers, and management.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple loan files, reporting requirements, and audits.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in microfinance or retail lending is an advantage.
