Position: Finance Executive – Accounts Receivable

About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Executive – Accounts Receivable to manage day-to-day receivables, billing, payment follow-ups, reconciliations, and financial records. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining accurate accounts receivable records across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, debit notes, and credit notes as required.
Maintain accurate records of customer/client outstanding balances.
Follow up with clients and concerned departments for timely collection of payments.
Prepare and maintain AR ageing reports and regularly follow up on overdue payments.
Record and reconcile customer receipts and payments in the accounting system.
Perform customer ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and other departments regarding billing and payment-related matters.
Maintain proper documentation of invoices,
payment receipts, and supporting documents.
Assist with bank reconciliation and verification of receipts.
Prepare periodic Accounts Receivable MIS and collection reports for management review.
Support the Finance team during month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with documentation required for internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with company finance policies and established accounting procedures.
Perform any other finance and accounting responsibilities assigned by the management.
Qualification & Requirements
B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance & Accounts preferred.
Positive understanding of accounting principles, billing, receivables, and reconciliations.
Working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Valuable numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Robust communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in financial records.
Hospitality industry experience will be an added advantage.
