Role Description The BIM Engineer (CAD to BIM) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The person in this role will convert 2D CAD construction drawings into accurate BIM models, ensuring that architectural, structural, and MEP elements are correctly represented and coordinated.

Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting project documentation, creating and updating BIM models, maintaining model standards, and collaborating with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues. The BIM Engineer will work closely with architects, civil and MEP engineers to support design reviews, clash detection, and model-based quantity extraction.



The role also involves adhering to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and BIM execution plans while contributing to process improvements and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model creation, coordination, and adherence to BIM standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in interpreting and producing Construction Drawings, ensuring accurate translation from CAD to BIM.
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Civil Engineering, with the ability to understand building design, structures, and site requirements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including layout interpretation and integration within BIM models.
- Proficiency in leading BIM/CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in AEC projects, familiarity with industry standards and codes, and attention to detail in model quality are advantageous.
- Solid communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to work effectively in an on-site, multidisciplinary team environment.
