Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled BIW Structure Design Engineer with strong experience in CATIA V5 and automotive body-in-white design.

Key Responsibilities

Design and development of BIW structural components using CATIA V5.

Create and modify 3D models, 2D drawings and engineering data.

Work on BIW components such as floor, side body, roof, pillars, cross members, reinforcements, etc.

Apply GD&T;, engineering standards and design guidelines.

Perform design modifications based on engineering requirements.

Coordinate with manufacturing, CAE and other engineering teams.

Ensure designs meet quality,



feasibility and cost requirements.

Handle design changes and support product development activities.

Required Skills

Solid knowledge of CATIA V5.

Good experience in BIW Structure Design.

Knowledge of Sheet Metal / Part Design / Assembly Design.

Good understanding of GD&T; and automotive design standards.

Knowledge of BIW manufacturing and joining processes.

Experience with Teamcenter / PLM will be an added advantage.

Qualification

BE/B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.

Experience: 3–8 Years

Industry: Automotive / Automobile Engineering
