Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Automotive Cybersecurity – Embedded Software Engineer based in the Greater Bengaluru Area .
The role involves designing, developing, integrating, and validating embedded cybersecurity software for automotive ECUs, gateways, and domain controllers. The engineer will work on CAN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS, DoIP, SOME/IP, AUTOSAR/ARXML, PDUs, diagnostics, and embedded intrusion detection systems .
Key responsibilities include developing embedded software in C/C++ , implementing vehicle communication and diagnostic functionality, analysing network traffic, developing IDS/IDPS detection logic, debugging hardware/software interactions,
and supporting system integration and validation.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
- Robust programming skills in C/C++ for microcontrollers and automotive ECUs.
- Good knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS, DoIP, SOME/IP, TCP/UDP , and automotive diagnostics.
- Experience working with AUTOSAR, ARXML, PDUs, signals, frames, and communication configurations .
- Understanding of microcontrollers, RTOS/bare-metal systems, QNX, Automotive Android embedded OS, and real-time software.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, build pipelines, and scripting .
- Knowledge of Protocol Buffers (Protobuf), JSON, telemetry, or embedded communication formats is desirable.
- Experience developing automotive IDS/IDPS, vehicle cybersecurity, secure diagnostics, or network security monitoring is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156, secure boot, cryptography, key management, and secure firmware updates is advantageous.
- Experience with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, TRACE32, JIRA, and Git-based development environments is beneficial.
