JKKN College of Arts and Science is seeking an Assistant Professor to join the Department of Visual Communication. The candidate will be passionate about tech-integrated media instruction, studio production, and creative research, guiding students across both traditional media practices and AI-empowered digital tools.

Responsibilities:

- Teach undergraduate courses across visual communication, digital design, and emerging media technologies.
- Incorporate AI-driven learning tools, smart learning models, and virtual studio practices into course delivery.
- Develop and deliver practical media lab, studio, and theoretical course materials.
- Evaluate student creative projects, production showreels, and academic performance using structured rubrics and analytics.
- Conduct research or creative projects in visual media, exploring the intersection of traditional design and generative technology.
- Organize departmental activities, film festivals, media exhibitions, and industry workshops.
- Advise and mentor students on portfolio development,



career pathways, and industry internships.

Qualifications:

- Master s Degree (M.A. / M.Sc .) in Visual Communication, Electronic Media, Mass Communication, or Fine Arts with NET/SET, or a Ph.D. as per UGC standards.
- Proficiency in industry software (Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D modeling, audio/video editing) alongside working knowledge of AI tools in creative production.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level or professional media industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated record of publications, media projects, film/design work, or creative achievements.
- Strong commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within an AI-empowered learning ecosystem.
