Role Description The Associate Category Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jodhpur. The individual in this role will support the management of assigned product and course categories, including analyzing performance, tracking key metrics, and identifying opportunities for growth. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with procurement and sales teams, assisting in vendor and partner management, and helping negotiate contracts that align with business objectives.

The Associate Category





Manager will work closely with academic and marketing teams to ensure category offerings, pricing, and promotions meet learner needs and market trends. The role also involves preparing regular reports, maintaining category-related data, and contributing to process improvements within the category management function.

Qualifications

- Solid category management skills, with the ability to support planning, assortment, pricing, and lifecycle management.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and develop insights for category improvement.
- Experience or exposure to procurement and contract negotiation, including working with vendors or partners.
- Sales-oriented skills to collaborate with sales teams, understand customer demand, and support revenue growth initiatives.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams in academic, marketing, and operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other data or reporting tools; familiarity with edtech or education sectors is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Commerce, or a related field; relevant work experience in category management or procurement is preferred.
