Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager Sourcing role focused on electronics components, based in Gurgaon.

The Assistant

Manager will manage end-to-end sourcing activities for electronic parts, including identifying and evaluating suppliers, obtaining and comparing quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. The role involves maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring timely availability of components for ongoing and upcoming projects. The individual will coordinate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to understand technical specifications and project timelines, and will support risk management through alternate sourcing and inventory planning.



Day-to-day responsibilities also include preparing sourcing reports, maintaining procurement records, staying updated on market trends in electronic components, and contributing to continuous improvement in sourcing processes.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of electronics components, bill of materials (BOMs), and basic electronic circuits, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience in procurement or sourcing for electronics or manufacturing, including vendor identification, quotation analysis, and price negotiation.
- Skills in supplier relationship management, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and long-term partnership development.
- Competence in data analysis and documentation using tools such as Excel and ERP systems, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles related to lead times, safety stock, and demand forecasting.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and production.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple sourcing projects and deadlines.
- Preferred educational background in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services), or product development environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory business practices.
