Role Description The Assistant Manager Finance Account role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, invoice processing, reconciliations, and monitoring cash flows.

The Assistant

Manager will support financial planning and analysis, assist in budgeting, track expenses, and help ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role includes coordinating with store management and sales teams to manage accounts related to retail operations, resolving billing or payment issues,



and preparing regular financial reports for senior management.

Manager will also help guide junior finance staff, contribute to process improvements, and maintain accurate and timely financial records to support business decisions.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of Finance, including budgeting, reporting, and basic financial analysis.
- Experience in Account Management, including ledger handling, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Ability to deliver effective Customer Service by handling account-related queries and resolving issues professionally.
- Exposure to Sales operations in a retail environment and understanding of how sales data impacts financial records.
- Proven Team Management skills, with the ability to guide and support junior staff in finance and accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with retail or multi-location business accounting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work in a quick-paced, high-volume environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and store management.
