Role & Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact and escalation point for Australian Taxation clients, managing overall service performance and client relationships.
Oversee and lead a team of taxation specialists, taking ownership of resource allocation, capacity management, and team productivity.
Review tax deliverables, provide technical coaching, and ensure strict compliance with Australian tax laws and quality/ISO standards.
Lead current client onboarding and transition strategies to establish smooth operational workflows.
Track operational metrics, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure consistent turnaround times, high quality, and continuous process improvements.
Manage employee engagement, performance appraisals, talent development, and succession planning in collaboration with HR.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience:



4 to 8 years of dedicated experience in Australian Taxation, with at least 2 to 5 years in a team leadership or client management role within a BPO, KPO, or accounting firm.
Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting. CA / CPA / ACCA / CS (Qualified or Advanced/Part-qualified) is preferred.
Software Expertise: Hands-on proficiency in Australian accounting software including Xero, HandiLedger/HandiTax, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, and NetSuite.
Core Competencies: Solid technical knowledge of Australian tax compliance, exceptional English communication skills, and proven leadership in stakeholder and team management.
