Role & responsibilities
Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
Ensure maximum availability and reliability of plant machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related problems.
Monitor and improve MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and equipment efficiency.
Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and checklists.
Lead maintenance technicians and allocate manpower according to requirements.
Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
Identify recurring equipment failures and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Manage critical spare parts, inventory, and maintenance consumables.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance activities.
Monitor maintenance costs and control unnecessary expenses.
Plan and execute machine installation, modification,
and improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, EHS standards, and statutory requirements.
Maintain maintenance records, reports, breakdown history, and equipment documentation.
Implement TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular inspection of machines and identify potential failures.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance performance reports.
Train and guide maintenance team members on equipment and safety procedures.
Support audits related to safety, quality, maintenance, and statutory compliance.
Coordinate with management for maintenance planning, budgeting, and CAPEX requirements.
