About the Role

Heritage Madurai is seeking an experienced Architect (3 to 6 years) to lead design execution across resort expansions, commercial infrastructure, and property enhancements. The ideal candidate will blend strong architectural design capability with interior spatial planning, client/stakeholder coordination, site monitoring, and material estimation.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Architectural Design & Planning: Develop end-to-end architectural designs, technical specifications, and construction drawings for hotel, resort, and commercial infrastructure projects.
- Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly with management, clients, and project partners to translate project requirements, brand standards, and functional preferences into actionable design schemes.
- Site Supervision & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve design-to-site discrepancies, and ensure full compliance with approved design plans, building codes, and safety standards.




- Material Estimation & BOQs: Prepare detailed estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ), and schedules for required construction and interior materials to support project budgeting and procurement.
- Interior Design Services: Deliver interior design solutionsincluding spatial layouts, material selection, lighting, and finishes—to create functional, sustainable, and aesthetically engaging spaces.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 3–6 years of experience handling hospitality/resort, commercial, or heritage infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in 2D drafting (AutoCAD), 3D modeling/BIM (Revit, SketchUp), rendering software (Lumion, V-Ray), and MS Office/Excel (for estimation).
- On-Site Competency: Robust understanding of construction execution, structural detailing, material properties, and vendor management.
- Languages: Fluency in Tamil (for site staff and contractor coordination) and English (for management and client communication).
