Impact Beacon partners with mission-driven organizations to strengthen their internal systems, donor engagement strategies, and operational resilience. We're looking for a curious, driven intern who can help us tell that story well: through case studies, articles, social media and the numbers behind them.
What You’ll Do
Content & Storytelling
Write case studies that show how our work has helped partner organisations, from the first conversation to the final draft.
Draft articles, blog posts and thought leadership pieces for our website and LinkedIn.
Interview our leadership and partners to gather stories, quotes and perspectives, then turn them into clear, readable content.
Assist in preparing newsletters, one-pagers and presentation material.
Social Media Marketing
Manage a monthly content calendar, mainly for LinkedIn and schedule it.
Create straightforward visuals in Canva.
Engage with our community and keep an eye on what peers in the sector are publishing.
Analytics & Reporting
Track how our content performs across LinkedIn and the website
Build simple monthly reports that show what's working and what to change.
Keep our content and contact lists organised and up to date.
Sector Research
Follow trends in philanthropy, nonprofit operations and the social impact sector.
Turn that research into content ideas, briefs and talking points for leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
A graduate or student in communications, journalism, marketing, English or a related field
Robust writing skills, with a portfolio or writing samples to show
Confidence speaking with senior leaders and asking valuable questions
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and at least one other social platform like YouTube.
Comfort with analytics tools such as LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics or Meta Business Suite
Working knowledge of Canva, Google Workspace and Notion
Organised, reliable and ready to own your work from start to finish
An interest in the nonprofit and social impact sector is a plus
What’s in It for You: ● Learn behind-the-scenes of strategy and execution in the nonprofit space
● Work directly with leadership on high-impact initiatives
● Certificate, mentorship, and stellar LinkedIn recommendations
