Job Title: Merchandiser

Experience

1–2 years in apparel merchandising, production, sourcing, or vendor management.

Role Overveiw

The Production Merchandiser will be responsible for managing end-to-end production execution, ensuring timely deliveries, quality compliance, and smooth coordination between vendors, factories, sourcing, design, and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the production lifecycle from order placement to final dispatch.
Create and track T&A; calendars to ensure on-time deliveries.
Coordinate with vendors for fabric, trims, production, washing, finishing, and dispatch.
Monitor production status and proactively resolve delays or bottlenecks.
Ensure bulk production follows approved specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Coordinate with design, technical, sourcing, and warehouse teams for smooth execution.
Track fabric and trim readiness before production starts.
Support costing discussions and vendor negotiations to maintain target margins.
Maintain production trackers, order status reports, and vendor performance records.

Required Skills




Robust understanding of garment manufacturing and production processes.
Knowledge of fabrics, trims, washes, garment construction, and quality standards.
Experience handling vendors and factory coordination.
Valuable proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
Robust communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
