Job Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Inventory Controls with 2–3 years of relevant experience in F&B; Cost Control / Inventory Control, preferably from the hospitality industry. The role will be responsible for monitoring inventory, controlling food costs, recipe costing, wastage and pilferage checks, and conducting audits to ensure effective inventory management and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control inventory across Central Kitchen and other relevant locations.
- Manage and monitor F&B; cost control processes.
- Conduct inventory audits, stock checks and random audits as required.
- Monitor and analyse wastage, pilferage, variance and stock discrepancies.
- Carry out recipe costing and monitor food cost against established standards.
- Analyse inventory consumption and identify areas of cost leakage.
- Coordinate with operations, kitchen and other relevant teams for inventory-related issues.
- Ensure proper inventory recording and reconciliation.
- Prepare inventory and cost-control reports using MS Excel.
- Identify process gaps and recommend measures to improve inventory controls.
- Travel to other locations as required for audits and inventory control activities.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of F&B; Cost Control and Inventory Control.
- Good understanding of recipe costing, food costing and inventory management.
- Knowledge of wastage and pilferage control.
- Experience in conducting stock audits / random audits.
- Good command of MS Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
- Knowledge of any hospitality / F&B; inventory management software is preferred.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
Experience & Qualification
- Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience in F&B; Cost Control / Inventory Control.
- Industry Preference: Hospitality / Hotels / Restaurants / QSR / Food & Beverage.
- Relevant educational qualification in Finance, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Commerce or a related field would be preferred.
Compensation CTC: 5–7 LPA, depending on the candidate's experience, skills and suitability for the role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates currently working in F&B; Cost Control, Inventory Control or Food Cost Control within the hospitality, hotel, restaurant or QSR industry would be preferred.
