Core Requirements:

- 3–5 years of skilled cyber security — ideally detection engineering, endpoint security, threat hunting or research.

- Strong understanding of how EDR/XDR platforms work, plus endpoint telemetry and Windows/Linux security concepts.

- Hands-on experience writing detection rules, queries, analytics or behavioural detections.

- Can design a detection strategy from an attack scenario — not just implement predefined rules.

- Experience analyzing process trees, command lines, network, file system and other endpoint signals.

- Experience threat hunting and investigating suspicious endpoint behaviour.

- Understands attacker behaviour and translates it into detection logic.

- Strong scripting or programming — Python, PowerShell or similar.





- Works independently on ambiguous problems and turns research into practical detection

AI Security Requirements:

- Working knowledge of LLM and AI-agent security concepts.

- Understands prompt injection and indirect prompt injection.

- Understands AI agents, tool calling, agentic workflows and execution traces.

- Can reason about an attack across layers — prompt → agent → tool call → shell → process → file/network → exfiltration.

- Follows emerging AI security research and investigates fast-moving attack techniques.
