We're hiring: Test and Validation Engineer AI Pod (Selenium Java / Playwright Automation Tester)

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid

Type: Full-Time

Notice Period- Immediate to 30 Days

We're looking for someone who has done the hard part of test engineering: walking into codebases written by others including AI-authored changes and turning them into systems that can actually be validated, regression-tested, and safely changed.

This is not a greenfield testing role. We need engineers who have built automated regression suites from scratch, tamed flaky tests, and treated quality as a managed process not a pile of scripts.

What We Need Test engineering across unit, integration, and regression levels on codebases developed by others

Development of validation paths and automation of regression suites that are currently manual

Assurance that AI-authored code changes do not break existing functionality via robust automated test suites

Working knowledge of at least two testing frameworks/tools: JUnit, xUnit/NUnit,



Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, or equivalent

Test data management, test workplace setup, stub strategies, and flaky-test triage

Integration of automated test suites into CI pipelines with established quality gates

Use of AI assistants or agents for test generation and maintenance with the ability to assess the quality of generated tests

Performance and load testing

Testing systems with significant SQL and business logic in stored procedures

Mainframe or COBOL test tooling for relevant systems

Measurement and reporting on test coverage

QA lead experience, particularly for products in regulated environments

Experience automating manual regression suites including sequencing, identifying tests to remain manual, and measuring impact on release cycles

At least one team member highly experienced with legacy technology stacks

Nice to have: Mutation testing Contract testing Reusable internal test libraries Prior work in AI-assisted or AI-generated codebases

How to stand out: Be ready to walk us through a specific example what you automated first, what you deliberately left manual, how you handled flaky tests, and how long it took to move the needle on release cycles. Generic "wrote automated tests" answers won't pass.
