We are building the Kefilo Nutrition Intelligence Engine to enable personalised nutrition, wellness recommendations, transformation programs and intelligent food/product systems.

Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Agent Expert to design, build and deploy intelligent AI-agent systems across Kefilo’s product, nutrition, operations, customer engagement and R&D; workflows.

This is a founding-team opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of building practical AI automation systems rather than simply advising on AI.

Key Responsibilities

- AI Agent Architecture
- Design multi-agent and task-specific AI agent systems for Kefilo.
- Build agent workflows for nutrition, customer support, operations, sales, research and internal processes.
- Define agent memory, context, tools, permissions and decision workflows.
- Nutrition Intelligence Agents
- Build AI agents that work with Kefilo’s Nutrition Intelligence Engine.
- Convert structured nutrition, food, fitness, lifestyle and transformation data into useful insights and actions.
- Support personalised meal, nutrition, fitness and wellness recommendations.
- Enable agents to work with rule-based systems while maintaining explainability and consistency.
- Customer & Transformation Agents
- Develop agents for onboarding, assessments, follow-ups and customer engagement.
- Automate personalised reminders, check-ins, habit tracking and transformation support.
- Build intelligent conversational experiences across app, WhatsApp and other relevant channels.
- Create escalation mechanisms to human nutritionists, fitness experts or other consultants when required.
- Business & Operations Automation
- Identify repetitive workflows across sales, marketing, customer management, kitchen operations and administration.
- Build agents that can execute multi-step workflows using APIs,



databases, CRM and business tools.
- Automate lead qualification, follow-ups, reporting, task allocation and internal coordination.
- Develop AI systems that reduce manual operational work.
- Research & R&D; Agents
- Build research agents for nutrition, food science, functional ingredients, food technology and wellness.
- Automate literature discovery, research summarisation, evidence extraction and structured knowledge creation.
- Create systems for monitoring new research, technologies, ingredients, patents and market developments.
- Agentic Data & Knowledge Systems
- Design structured knowledge bases for nutrition, ingredients, recipes, wellness protocols and Kefilo products.
- Work with databases, APIs, vector databases, retrieval systems and structured data.
- Develop RAG and knowledge-grounded AI systems where appropriate.
- Ensure agents use reliable and approved information sources.
- AI Integrations & Tool Use
- Integrate AI agents with Kefilo’s mobile/web application, databases and internal systems.
- Work with LLM APIs, automation platforms, APIs, webhooks and external services.
- Enable agents to safely retrieve information, analyse data and execute authorised actions.
- Testing, Evaluation & Safety
- Build evaluation frameworks for accuracy, reliability, hallucination control and consistency.
- Establish human-in-the-loop mechanisms for sensitive nutrition and wellness decisions.
- Create monitoring systems for agent performance and failures.
- Ensure AI outputs remain explainable, traceable and aligned with Kefilo’s defined rules and expert frameworks.
- AI R&D; & Innovation
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI-agent frameworks,



models and automation technologies.
- Develop proprietary agent architectures, workflows and AI systems that can become Kefilo’s intellectual property.
- Identify opportunities where AI can create defensible technology and operational advantages.

Ideal Candidate
- Experience building AI agents, autonomous workflows or agentic AI systems.
- Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling and workflow orchestration.
- Experience with Python and APIs; familiarity with databases, RAG, vector databases and automation platforms.
- Experience integrating AI with real-world products or business workflows.
- Understanding of multi-agent systems, memory, evaluation and AI observability.
- Ability to move from concept → prototype → working production system.
- Strong problem-solving and execution mindset.
- Experience in HealthTech, NutritionTech, FoodTech, wellness or consumer technology is an advantage.
- Interest in building proprietary AI systems rather than only using off-the-shelf chatbots.

Engagement
- Equity-only founding team position
- Part-time: approximately 20–25 hours/week
- Remote / hybrid
- No fixed salary at the current stage
- Fixed compensation to be introduced after funding and revenue stabilisation
- Equity based on contribution, responsibility and long-term commitment
- 5-year vesting structure for core founding team members
