Responsibilities

- Drive Motor Insurance business through the Agency channel.
- Develop and manage agency partners, agents and distribution relationships.
- Achieve business targets across premium, policies, renewals and portfolio growth.
- Build and strengthen the agency network through recruitment and development of agents.
- Manage key agency relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor business performance, productivity and portfolio profitability.
- Lead and mentor sales/agency teams to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations and other internal teams for smooth business servicing.
- Ensure adherence to company processes, underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.

• Drive market expansion and strengthen the Motor Insurance business across the assigned territory.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in General Insurance, with robust exposure to Motor Insurance and Agency channel.
- Strong experience in Agency Sales, Agency Distribution or Motor Insurance business development.
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and managing a sizeable portfolio.
- Experience in team handling, agent development and agency relationship management.
- Strong understanding of Motor Insurance products, distribution and market dynamics.




- Strong agency/agent network and market relationships will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

• Candidates with strong Maharashtra market exposure will be preferred.
