**AEM Technical Architect / Lead Developer

Role Overview** We are looking for a senior AEM Technical Architect / Lead Developer to drive the architecture and implementation of a new public-facing enterprise website under a Lilly subdomain.

The role will be approximately 60% architecture/technical leadership and 40% hands-on design and implementation. The resource should have strong expertise across AEM, headless architecture, React/Next.js, integrations, content modeling, localization, and enterprise web platforms.

**Key Responsibilities

AEM & Solution Architecture**

- Define the target AEM architecture, including AEM Sites, AEM as a Cloud Service, Headless AEM, AEM Assets/DAM, and Edge Delivery Services where applicable.
- Design integration patterns across AEM, React/Next.js, Node.js, and enterprise platforms.
- Evaluate AEM-hosted, Lilly-hosted, and hybrid architecture options.
- Define reusable AEM components, templates, content models, and authoring experiences.
- Establish content publishing, approval, versioning, and workflow strategies.
- Support Cloud Manager, CI/CD, environment setup, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Localization & Global Content

- Define architecture for multi-country and multilingual websites.
- Design AEM MSM/language-copy and translation-management strategies.




- Establish global-master and market-local content governance.
- Ensure scalability for future brand, indication, and geographic expansion.

Project Responsibilities The resource will initially lead:

1. AEM architecture assessment and solution recommendation
2. AEM platform, license, and environment-readiness assessment
3. CMS, DAM, localization, analytics, and marketing architecture
4. React/Next.js, Node.js, and AEM integration architecture
5. Scout and CRM integration design
6. AEM component and content-model definition
7. Environment, deployment, and hosting design
8. Development estimation and dependency identification
9. Technical leadership during implementation
10. Go-live, performance, and production architecture review

Ideal Profile

- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and enterprise web implementations.
- Experience with AEM Sites, AEMaaCS, Headless AEM, AEM Assets/DAM, Content Fragments, and reusable components.
- Robust understanding of React/Next.js, Node.js, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with AEM Cloud Manager, CI/CD, deployment, localization, and multilingual implementations.
- Ability to provide technical direction while remaining hands-on during design and early implementation.
