Role Description This is a part-time, remote Advocate role focused on supporting the firm’s collection and enforcement activities for financial institution clients. The Advocate will review case files, analyze documentation, and provide legal opinions on matters related to recovery, enforcement, and compliance. Daily responsibilities include drafting legal notices, petitions, and responses; preparing case summaries; and coordinating with internal collection teams to ensure that legal actions are properly aligned with operational strategies.

The role also involves advising on applicable laws and regulations,



maintaining accurate records of legal proceedings, and participating in virtual consultations or hearings when required. The Advocate will collaborate with colleagues and clients through digital channels while adhering to professional ethics and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and recovery laws, particularly relating to financial institutions and enforcement proceedings.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation, including notices, pleadings, contracts, and case summaries.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research, interpret statutes and case law, and provide clear written legal opinions.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Comfort with remote work tools, case management software, and secure document handling in a digital environment.
- LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution and enrollment with a Bar Council, with relevant experience in litigation or enforcement work.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, time management skills, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice.
