The Parts Manager manages the heavy equipment parts department to ensure high availability of spare parts, minimize machine downtime, and optimize inventory costs. This role coordinates closely with the Betterteam Hiring Resources guidelines, working alongside project managers, mechanics, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels for heavy machinery parts (such as hydraulic filters, tracks, engine components, and wear items) to prevent shortages or costly overstocking
Procurement &
Sourcing:

Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket vendors
Operations &
Logistics:

Oversee shipping, receiving, barcoding, and warehousing of incoming parts, ensuring accurate record-keeping in the dealer or enterprise inventory system.

Requirements &
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in business administration, supply chain management, or mechanical/automotive engineering is preferred.
Experience:



3 to 5 years of experience managing parts inventory or working in heavy equipment/automotive logistics.
Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with heavy construction machinery (excavators, loaders, bulldozers) and ability to read parts catalogs/diagrams.
Software Proficiency: Experience with computerized inventory tracking or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
Soft Skills: Solid negotiation, organization, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Cross-Functional Support: Partner with the service and maintenance departments to fulfill work orders rapidly and reduce equipment downtime.
Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and schedule warehouse staff, parts clerks, and counter personnel.

Pricing:

Track departmental key performance indicators (KPIs), establish part markup pricing for internal or external billing, and manage the operational budget.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
