Job Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Engineer / Purchase Executive with relevant experience in the plastic manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, vendor management, material sourcing, negotiations and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
Source raw materials, components, consumables and other required materials.
Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor purchase orders, material availability and delivery status.
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts and other internal teams.
Maintain vendor records,



purchase documentation and related records.
Monitor and evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing and delivery.
Resolve procurement-related discrepancies, delays and supply issues.
Prepare and maintain purchase MIS and procurement reports.
Ensure procurement activities are aligned with business requirements and budgets.

Mandatory Requirements
2–5 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
Experience in the plastic industry is mandatory.
Diploma or Graduate qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Solid vendor management, sourcing and negotiation skills.
Valuable understanding of procurement processes and purchase operations.
Robust communication and coordination skills.
Comfortable working 10–12 hour shifts.
Candidates should be available for an immediate interview.

Note: This role requires candidates with relevant experience in the plastic industry. Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
