Role Overview: -We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead the financial operations of our luxury 5-star hotel property. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing processes, preparing comprehensive balance sheets, P&L; statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with standard accounting practices.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to prepare annual operating budgets, CapEx plans, and financial forecasts.
- Monitor daily hotel revenue streams across departments, track departmental expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable .
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations (GST, TDS, property tax, professional tax, property tax and income taxes)



and coordinate statutory, internal audits.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce robust internal financial control procedures across all hotel operational departments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles (within hotel industry is an added advantage)
- Solid working knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting frameworks
- Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills
- Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
