Vijayaraja Paints works with project owners, EPC contractors, OEMs, government organisations, Indian Railways, Metro projects, infrastructure developers, and industrial customers to provide product solutions, technical support, and complete coating solutions.

Role Description

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Chennai.

The main requirement for this role is good working knowledge of Tally . Candidates who are comfortable using Tally for day-to-day accounting activities are encouraged to apply.

Freshers and experienced candidates are both welcome to apply. Candidates with a basic understanding of accounting and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally .
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Maintain ledgers and assist with account reconciliation.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements .
- Track accounts payable and receivable.




- Assist in bank reconciliation and monitoring of financial transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Assist the senior/accounts team with monthly reports and closing activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding accounts-related matters.
- Ensure accuracy of entries and identify any discrepancies in accounting records.

Required SkillsMust Have
- Good knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Good to Have
- Knowledge of GST and TDS
- Experience in invoicing, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.

Eligibility
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with 0–5+ years of experience can apply.
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance or a related qualification is preferred.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of Tally will be given consideration.
- Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or coating companies is not mandatory .
