Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledger entries, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, supporting tax computations and filings, assisting in audit processes, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations. The role involves monitoring cash flows, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing accurate financial reports to support internal and client decision-making. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and clients, respond to financial queries, and help improve financial controls and processes.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Candidates should possess tax-related skills such as tax computation, compliance with local tax regulations, and support for tax filings and documentation.
- Candidates should possess audit support skills, including preparing audit schedules, responding to auditor queries, and assisting with internal control reviews.
- Candidates should possess financial analysis and reporting skills, including variance analysis, budgeting support, and clear presentation of financial data.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail, accuracy, and strong numerical aptitude.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Mumbai and manage multiple deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required.
- Relevant experience in tax, finance, or audit within a professional services or corporate environment will be beneficial.
- Candidates who have more then 3 years in production houses accounting will get preference.
