Overview:

We are looking for a 3D Modeler & Animator who is comfortable working across modelling, texturing, and animation in Blender. The role is suited to someone with robust fundamentals who can create clean, optimized 3D assets and engaging explainer-style animations, including medical and nursing VR content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create basic to intermediate 3D models based on references, concepts, or project requirements.
- Perform UV unwrapping, texturing, material setup, and basic lighting.
- Create clean and engaging 3D explainer-style animations.
- Sync animation, actions, and transitions to voiceovers, music, and sound effects.
- Handle basic rigging and object or character animation when required.
- Optimize models, textures, and scenes for efficient production.
- Use AI tools intelligently for references, textures, ideation, asset development, and repetitive production tasks.
- Work from storyboards and references to create polished 3D visuals.
- Maintain organized Blender files, naming conventions, and reusable assets.

Workflow:

- Review the brief, storyboard, references, and audio before starting production.
- Plan the models, scenes, animation, and timing needed for each sequence.
- Create assets and animation in Blender, using the audio track to guide timing where required.
- Share previews, incorporate feedback,



and prepare the final renders and organized project files.

Requirements:

- Good fluency in Blender is essential.
- Basic to intermediate skills in 3D modelling, UV unwrapping, texturing and materials, and lighting and rendering.
- Good understanding of animation principles, especially for explainer-style content.
- Ability to create smooth, visually clear, and efficiently timed animations.
- Ability to sync animation accurately with narration, music, and sound effects.
- Comfortable integrating AI tools into the creative workflow rather than relying entirely on traditional processes.
- Good visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work from references.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Software Required:

- Blender

Knowledge of additional software is welcome, but not mandatory.

What We’re Looking For:

We care more about practical skills, problem-solving ability, and quality of work than formal qualifications. A portfolio or showreel demonstrating modelling, texturing, and especially 3D animation or explainer work will be an important part of the selection process. Audio-synced animation examples are a plus.
