Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic School Counsellor to support students in their academic, social-emotional and career development. The role involves counselling students, working closely with teachers and parents, and contributing to a safe, inclusive and positive school setting.

Key Responsibilities
Provide academic guidance, course selection support and academic goal-setting.
Identify students facing academic challenges and provide appropriate intervention or support.
Provide individual and small-group counselling for personal, social and emotional concerns.
Support students with stress, anxiety, self-esteem, conflict resolution and other wellbeing concerns.
Handle student concerns and coordinate appropriate intervention when required.
Guide students regarding higher education, college applications, career options and vocational opportunities.
Organize career guidance sessions, educational workshops and related student activities.




Work with teachers and school leadership to address behavioural and learning-related concerns.
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
Coordinate with external support agencies or professionals when required.
Maintain student records and ensure confidentiality and privacy.

Qualifications & Skills
Master’s degree in School Counselling, Educational Psychology or Counselling Psychology.
Valid certification/licence as a School Counsellor, where applicable.
3+ years of counselling experience in a recognised school.
Good knowledge of student tracking/record systems and standard office applications.
Solid communication, active listening and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to handle sensitive student situations professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to student wellbeing.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
