We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Senior Admission Counsellor to handle student enquiries, provide effective course counselling, manage leads, and drive admissions for our competitive exam coaching programs.
Key Responsibilities
Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins and other channels.
Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable competitive exam courses.
Explain course details, fees, batch schedules, study materials and admission procedures clearly.
Follow up with prospective students and convert qualified leads into admissions.
Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to students and parents.
Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure no potential lead is missed.
Manage and update lead details, follow-up status and conversions in CRM.
Achieve daily, weekly and monthly admission/conversion targets.
Maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth student onboarding.
Monitor lead conversion performance and provide feedback on lead quality.
Support promotional activities, admission campaigns and student outreach activities.
Guide and support junior counsellors when required.
Requirements
Any Graduate/Postgraduate.
2+ years of experience in admission counselling, education sales, EdTech, telesales or a similar role.
Experience in competitive exam coaching or the education industry will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid counselling, persuasion, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
Valuable knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
Solid follow-up and relationship-management skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Confident, proactive and result-oriented approach.
