Role Summary

Review and check piping design models and drawings using SP3D and AutoCAD. Ensure accuracy and compliance of piping deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for optimized piping designs.

What Youll Do
Inspect and check the work of Modelers and Detailers in SP3D
Review clash checks and generate clash check reports for comment resolution
Generate inputs from 3D models for stress analysis and interact with the stress analysis team
Model pipe supports in SP3D as per stress analysis output
Extract isometrics and validate MTO/BOQ/EBOM and deliverables
Coordinate with other Engineering groups for necessary design inputs
Prepare and maintain design documentation, including calculations, MTO, and BOM




Ensure design changes and drawing revisions are properly implemented
Perform self-checks for design accuracy and completeness
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in piping design

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
Experience as a Checker in SP3D for piping projects
Ability to inspect and validate work of Modelers and Detailers
Proficiency in AutoCAD
8+ years of skilled experience in Piping Design, Pipe Routing, Equipment Modeling, Critical Lines, Isometrics, and Detailing

Positive to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
As per requirement

Qualifications: BE / B Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or related field
