Part time Consulting Opportunity – Statistical Forecasting
We are looking for an experienced Statistical Forecasting Expert / Consultant to work with us on a part-time consulting basis to develop and optimise forecasting models for textile raw materials, particularly fibres and yarns
.
Key Expertise Required
Statistical and time-series forecasting
Forecast model development, validation and accuracy testing
Trend, seasonality and cyclical pattern analysis
Handling and analysing historical time-series data and market variables
Model optimisation and performance improvement
Scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling
Ability to translate statistical outputs into meaningful business insights
Preferred Experience Experience in textiles, fibres, yarns, commodities, or related raw-material markets would be an added advantage.
The engagement will involve working closely with our team to understand the data, develop appropriate forecasting methodologies, test different models and build practical forecasting solutions.
