We are specifically looking for B.Pharm/ M.Pharm/ B. Tech/M.Tech people with experience in Supply Planning in the pharmaceutical sector.
Role & responsibilities
Your role will be to plan production, track raw materials and packaging materials, manage inventory, and solve shortages before they affect manufacturing.
Check how much product demand is coming from the market and plan production accordingly.
Ensure factories have enough raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) like bottles, labels, shippers, etc.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to avoid stock shortages or production delays.
Monitor inventory levels so there is neither excess stock nor shortage.
Track slow-moving, blocked, or near-expiry materials and take corrective actions.
Use SAP (S4HANA/ECC) to create production orders, manage BOMs, and track material movement.
Participate in S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to align supply with business demand.
Prepare reports and presentations related to planning, shortages, inventory, and performance.
