Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and design of telecom subsystems for metro rail and transportation projects.
Develop technical roadmaps, solution strategies, and lifecycle management plans aligned with project and business objectives.
Review and approve preliminary and detailed design documents, integration deliverables, and FAT, PAT, and SAT procedures.
Conduct proof-of-concepts, vendor assessments, technical feasibility studies, and design reviews.
Establish and manage telecom testing laboratories for system simulation, integration, and validation.
Define and review telecom interfaces with signaling, rolling stock, SCADA, and automatic fare collection systems.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams across multiple projects.
Skills Required:
10 - 17 years of relevant experience,
preferably including 5 years in metro projects or rail telecommunications.
Solid experience with telecommunications systems, BTS, MPLS, access control, and metro rail environments.
Demonstrated capability in system architecture, subsystem design, requirements analysis, and technical documentation.
Experience integrating telecom platforms with transportation systems and managing complex system interfaces.
Hands-on understanding of telecom system integration, testing, FAT, PAT, SAT, and customer acceptance activities.
Positive to Have:
Experience with railway signaling systems and rail telecom domain projects.
Education:
B.E. or B.Tech degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
