Quantity Take-Offs: Measure surface areas, linear measurements, and item counts.
BOQ Preparation: Create a detailed Bill of Quantities listing exact descriptions, units, and quantities for every interior work item.
Rate Analysis: Calculate unit rates for specialized interior finishes, custom furniture, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) adjustments based on current market data.
Supplier and Subcontractor Quotations: Request and analyze quotes from specialized vendors.
Tender Pricing: Compile the final tender or bid submission, incorporating overheads, waste factors, risks, and profit margins.
Budget and Cost Control: Track ongoing expenditures against the approved interior budget to prevent cost overruns.
Valuations and Interim Payments: Measure completed site work and certify payment applications for contractors.
Variation Management: Price and negotiate client-requested design changes or site variations during the fit-out process.
Value Engineering: Suggest alternative, cost-effective materials or construction methods without compromising the interior designer's aesthetic standards or quality requirements.
Final Accounts: Settle final financial claims, reconcile subcontractor accounts, and close out the project contract.
