Job Title: Purchase Manager Civil Construction

Roles & Responsibilities:
Handle purchase of construction materials like cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, plumbing & electrical materials.
Source suppliers, collect quotations and compare rates.
Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).
Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Stores and Accounts teams.
Monitor material requirements and maintain proper stock levels.
Ensure materials meet required quality and project specifications.
Develop and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers.
Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery/quality issues.
Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs and supplier details.
Monitor market rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Handle vendor bills and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.Role & responsibilities
