Role Overview

We are hiring an Area Manager / Relationship Manager to drive investments into a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending product, positioned as a high-growth alternate asset class, for a profitable, RBI-registered NBFC-P2P platform. This is an individual contributor role focused on expanding the B2B channel by empanelling and managing Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), IFAs, brokers, and other financial channel partners. The role reports to the Regional/Zonal Head and is open in Kolkata, Guwahati, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and empanel a high-potential network of current channel partners (MFDs, IFAs, brokers, sub-brokers) to distribute the P2P investment product.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly investment targets, including lumpsum and SIP/PTP, from the empanelled channel network.
• Drive product penetration and total investment volume within the distributor base, establishing P2P as a core offering.
• Build long-term relationships with channel partners through product education, training, and ongoing sales support.




• Act as the primary liaison for partner onboarding, documentation, and transaction processes, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Track the P2P lending regulatory framework (RBI/NBFC) and competitor activity to position the product effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in financial services.
• Direct experience with AMCs/Mutual Funds, Broking/Securities firms, or NBFCs, specifically in the channel partner (MFD/IFA) model.
• An established, active network of MFDs/IFAs in the candidate's city/territory (mandatory).
• Robust understanding of Mutual Funds, SIPs, equity, bonds, and PMS/AIF.
• Preferred: prior exposure to the P2P lending model, MBA in Finance/Marketing, NISM certification.
