Key Responsibilities:
Visit patients or handle walk-ins to safely collect blood and other biological samples.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of samples as per safety guidelines.
Maintain sample temperature and transport samples to the lab in a timely manner.
Maintain hygiene, follow sterilization protocols, and safely dispose of biomedical waste.
Explain procedures reassuringly to patients and address any concerns.
Requirements:
DMLT / B.Sc MLT degree or certified phlebotomy course completion.
Prior experience in venipuncture and lab procedures preferred.
Own two-wheeler and valid driving license (if home collection is required).
